Building a community takes time, but sustaining one for three decades takes true dedication. We are incredibly proud to celebrate our 30-year partnership with the Bolton Under Fives Forum (BUFF), an organization that has become a cornerstone of support for childcare in our region.
A Pillar of Support for Childcare Professionals
Led by the tireless Debra Jones, BUFF provides a vital lifeline for childminders and childcare professionals. Their mission goes beyond simple advice; they foster a genuine community through:
-
Expert Guidance: Providing essential resources and professional advice to navigate the complexities of childcare.
-
Drop-in Sessions: Creating a dual-purpose space where childminders can socialize and share experiences while children play in a safe, enriching environment.
-
Professional Networking: Reducing the isolation often felt by independent childminders by connecting them with their peers.
Excellence in First Aid Training
A key pillar of our collaboration focuses on safety. Debra Jones serves as the central organizer for Paediatric First Aid sessions across the area.
Through our partnership, Debra develops and manages a comprehensive programme of future courses that we deliver together. This ensures that every professional in the Bolton area has access to high-quality, up-to-date life-saving skills.
